Club Captain’s Report – 18 Jan 2026

 

Happy New Year to all!
What a week!!! Two AP shooters broke 250, and the accuracy of the livefire at Auburn this week was incredible! 
I might have to stop single-handed shooting to stay in the Top 10 at this rate!
 

Air Pistol 

  • B242 took out top spot with a 263!!
  • B241 came 2nd with a 257
  • Vincent & Wilson with equal 3rd with 237
  • Paulette & Jim D equal 5th with 235

Again – a very special thank you to B242 & B241 for going out of their way to surprise us by giving the AP range a good clean over the New Years break.

 

 

Rimfire

  • Glenn came top with a 482
  • Evgeny & Zengqi both came equal 2nd with a 473
  • Raygun 4th with a 471
  • And Wilson with a 469 
 

Centrefire

  • Paul C took out top honours with a 457
  • Steve J came 2nd with 441
  • Daniel L came 3rd with 428
  • Robin S 4th with a 405
  • Ricky Z 5th with a 367

It was great to see Ken Kwong, Simon, Yiyue, Teresa, Steve, Ali & Paul again, and a big thank you to all who assisted in cleaning up at the end: Kevin, Neil, Gary, Ricky, Robin & the usual gang (Sorry if I missed you). 
Also a big thank you to the newer Range Officers & Supervisors who assisted during the day (Kevin, Daniel, Gary, Simon) as it made the shoot really easy to run and kept things flowing.
