Club Captain’s Report – Sun Oct 26th
This was our last week in our reporting period:
It was Grant’s last shoot with the club & we wish him well!
REMINDER: Start booking for the XMas Party! We give out awards to the top shooters of 2025 & there’s some decent grub whilst we chat amongst ourselves afterwards.
Jim D took out top honours with a 251. Kevin S., Mike B., Simon M. & Vincent took out the next 4 spots with a 249, 247, 243 & 241 respectively (Pretty high scores!!!)
A special shout to Bede for attending & also a big thanks to Joe for helping us figure out the new Airking compressor!
It was a 2 comp week, so 2 sections:
22LR
Comp 1: Wilson took out the top score at the electronic target with his magical Hammerli – 392. This was closely followed by Glenn L with a 389, and then Grant L with a 364
Comp 2: Jim D’s cat-like reflexes made him the Top shooter with a 344, followed by Wilson with a 341 & Harry (one of our newbies) with a 291.

A big welcome Mike B & Matthew C as it’s been a while.
Comp 1: Mike B toko out top honours with a 328, followed by Matthew C with a 243 and David D with a 229
Comp 2: Mike B again took out top score with a 378! Followed by David D with a 345 and Matthew C with a 320.
A shout out to Gavin, Gary, Chris & Glenn for helping out with RO duties & Supervising. Harpreet (EEH) also deserves a shout out for helping to control the brass on the floor. And I’d like to thank everyone who attended as literally EVERYONE chipped in & helped out with the cleaning & supervision of gear whilst the Pres, Secretary & Captain disappeared into the bowels of the SISC.
