Pres Smudge Report – Sunday November 9
with Chad oH seen driving off into the distance , and Capt Obviously not present It was left to Dashing David to run the shoot.
with everything carefully planned , Pres Smudge was seen to swanning round with some wraps and cream cake , courtesy of the Excalibur Pistol Club as he was herding the cats into some semblance of order … and obviously saved the day.
With 6 bays at hand , the herding somehow sorted itself out, and with the briefing and order of the shoot emailed to the DLSs … the cats were settled in their bays chafing at the bit , ready … at 12:07 the shots rang out , and with Dashing David’s guidance the comp shoot was under way.
By 1pm the shooters tore down their targets … and went off to score , so to speak … Pres Smudge was most impressed , then … the shooting started again , it was obvious everybody had carefully ignored the President … and just continued to enjoy themselves.
With Cool Hand and Father trying out the 9mm , and Brendan practicing his rapid fire shooting depleting a barrow load of ammunition.

Pres Smudge surveyed some selected shooters , who after been bribed , I mean offered some wraps, agreed and Rated the shoot as the very best , they have ever been to 🙁
A crowd of happy satisfied faces chattered their way out of the Range at 2:30 … the shoot ????
the shoot ??? ohh yes …
Results Rimfire:
Jim D on 546 flattened the Pres on 518 , then accused Pres that he should be penalised for using a red dot. The Pres ruled that it was malicious and penalised the sly Fox 97 points, as Pres pointed out he was using a Green Cross, this places the not so cunning Fox in 3rd place behind the wonderful Paulette.
Then came James , good work James , Brendan and Dino.
The BNBs
In the 9mm Glenn did not get 5 bullseyes (on the little target) but only just managed to top on 570. Gus just beat Grant, followed by William.
Then Cool Hand tried the 9mm , he seemed to like the Big noise and looked very pleased with himself. He was followed by 2 Toms and Cool hands’ Dad and Francisco.
A big thanks to Tony Linda and Ellie for being such great sports and hosts , such a pleasure to be there.
Good to see so many happy shooters , so satisfied with the afternoon shoot at the Condell Park Range
see you all next week
