Shadow Report February 22nd

Condell Park Saturday Play. A small turn out of only 12 members but that means there’s more play time. Some chose to have a second comp, and some chose the free time to hone their skills.

Brent H came out of the blocks loud and proud…well mainly loud with his 38 special. That gun sure does sing….and it performs. Brent took out first place and the prize of hitting the miniature smudge sticker at 20m. He was first today by a long way. David D who is progressively becoming better and better each week, in second place. It won’t be long until he is giving Glenn a hurry up as the clubs best shooter.

Grant L first in Centre fire which is no surprise, as Grant’s always on the money. Pres Smudge second, which is amazing given he runs around like a mad hatter looking after members and has barely anytime to think of himself. And a massive result for James G in third, who’s becoming more consistent and accurate each week. I think he is motivated by fear of being outscored by Helen G. But watch out, Helen will be on the comeback trail very shortly after her free practise, where she spent time fine tuning her technique.

A big thanks to Tony F for organising the sign in and squads. And all those who helped Pres Smudge with the gear and clean up.

For those of you who haven’t been to one of our Condell Park meets, you really should get down there. We always have plenty of time and that is a precious commodity with our other ranges. And if your thinking of buying ammo, don’t until you speak with LL or TT at Condell Park. They do fantastic prices. Ask me how I know!

Stay straight and tight
