Shadow Report February 16th

Another successful and safe Sunday at St Marys. Today we were blessed with the presence of the club’s senior shooters, who are all qualified RO’s. They are the A-Team.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them….maybe you can hire The A-Team.

So, we found them, we hired them, and Hoa, Brent, Ray and Wally were the A-Team. Their help made for an efficient and safe shoot. Their skills and experience made a good day, great. I am sure all the members who attended would agree. It also meant our club captain had no reason to “get loud”. I am sure everybody appreciated that!

Another very pleasing note is the high level of skill our new club members are demonstrating. The safe handlining of firearms is paramount and these members are doing a first-class job in that regard. I commend them all. Obviously, it’s a direct result of the training our club provides.

As per normal, I’m not going to state all the results, because you can look at them yourselves. But, to mention some highlights.

Wilson L shot nothing but 8, 9 and 10’s in a what can only be called precision accuracy. He beat our A-Team Ray M who decided to aim up today, by only 3 points. Neil M in his first shoot smashed out a very respectful score to open his account with the club. James G placed 5th today and is getting better and better each week. Our dashing club secretary is working his way up the results table every week and the newly appointed Club Vice Press made up for lost time by shooting as many rounds as he could.

All in all, we had a great day with a fantastic bunch of people.

Stay straight and tight and as A-Team captain Hannibal says…” I love it when a plan comes together.”
