Shadow Report February 2nd at Auburn

Our first shoot back at Auburn! As expected and despite all the planning ….lets just say the shoot ran as expected. The club RO’s had to be inducted which ran over time. We had 25 members turn up and we had the Auburn officials watching us like hawks. But in the end, the Auburn management were accommodating and flexible allowing us to get everybody through.

Auburn holds a very high standard in range disciplines. Fortunately, so does our club and we welcome this. We will need to communicate a few minor tweaks about these to members.

All up it was a welcome return to Auburn. Whilst there is still some discussion needed on what we can do, I think Auburn are now part of our journey.  

Today we shot at two targets and multiple distances. There were a few standouts.

Ray M took equal top spot in Centrefire with club legend Glenn L who dusted off his 22. New member Mike B in third. Watch this space with Mike, I predict we have another sharp shooter on our hands.

Top Junior today with an impressive score was Ananya B

Centrefire was taken out by Rahul B, Steve J second. Tony F was a happy camper rolling out his newly acquired 9mm for the first time.

Given it was our first time back at Auburn and things ran a little slow, I’m sure everybody still had a great day.
