The Shadow Report – Sunday July 21
As the Bangles sang;
I wish it was Sunday, cause that’s my fun day. And for today’s funday 17 members shot from the benches at 10, 15, 20 and 25m.
It’s a challenge with the limited equipment we have on hand at St Marys to vary the shoots. But we are working on some ideas. You might say the President has a cunning plan.
Early before the shoot commenced, he demonstrated a new fangdangle piece of equipment that he said would surely excite all the members.
The captain was so excited when he saw it, he had no words to express his feelings. He could only quote Freddy Mercury …Scaramouche , Scaramouche , will you do the Fandango?
So , enough song quotes, let’s talk results.
Rimfire:
New member Gus T hasn’t got the memo that new shooters are not allowed to top the rankings. 1st place with 430 points. Grant L in 2nd with 426 and another new shooter Adeel A 3rd with 417. Some fine shooting indeed.
Centrefire:
If you make the distances long and give him enough time, you just can’t beat him. Glenn L 1st with 412. Christian S 3rd with 384.
In summary, we had another great funday. Let’s close out this report with some unrelated but beautiful words from an artist I know all our members are big fans of. You should try humming this tune when your shooting , I know Glenn does.
