The Shadow Report – Sunday June 16
Well, another great Sunday for CHRSL shooters. Let me start by saying, todays shoot ran very well. Why you ask? Because, quite a few members stepped up to assist in the running. Which is awesome to see. And because, all members were highly efficient, professional and safe in the way they conducted themselves.
Everybody deserves to be congratulated. But to name a few…. Rahul for helping set up, Tony and Paulette helping call up the next shooters and Ramesh for pushing the broom around. For all those who patched, which I think was nearly everybody, and all those who helped pack up … a massive thank you. The officials can’t do it by themselves without the support of members participating.
After last Sunday’s record turnout, today seemed like a quiet day, even though we had twenty members on deck. Brent and Ray were RO’ing as a tag team. They did such a great job, it makes me think they have tagged teamed before. The President and Captain were lurking on the sidelines watching the show. Me thinks they like to watch.
Results for today’s shoot at 10 & 20m’s with precision targets are:
Rimfire 1st place Louie P, who was a country mile out front with 419 points. 2nd Jim D who stepped up his game this week with 408 points but still couldn’t bring home the bacon for first. Ramesh K in 3rd with 399 who is on the improve week after week.
The Centrefire show-ponies results were once again a mixed bag of show-pony poo. Except Rahul B with 367 which is a good result given the clubs 9mm was giving him some grief in his first string.
Well, there you have it, another week of fun with holes and paper.
Stay straight and tight … and tag me in next time!
