Anon Ymous has gone walkabout … that’s why the late results.
But we were obviously pleased to have our President back, resulting in the shoot ratings going through the roof.
Anyway… here’s an update on another exciting and enjoyable Sunday shoot. This week 11 members attended.
2 shoots to go at St Marys then we are off to Auburn on January 14.
The shoots were trial ones, designed to inject some practical safety assessment, mixing clearing to point of bagging , before stepping across to a different Club pistol.
Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to interact with other Club members and pick up some Hottt Gosss
and nice to have a short free shoot at the end, which is all about learning more and improving.
We welcome our new member Tony to the shoot, he was keen to impress, ready to help where he could, another good example … thank Tony 🙂 … hope you enjoyed your shoot.
and good to see some old faces Craig, Jim and Glenn. Brent and Geoff for running the shoot so well, despite the President ‘helping’
Good to see Raymond looking so well, Paulette and Marvin and Grant.
Let’s talk about some results. Grant topped the overall and rimfire scores this week with 439 points. He was the best shooter with grouping’s tighter than a rabbit’s waistcoat.
Craig who fixed the scoring just beat Brent, hhmmmm, was the best of the centrefire with 388 and placing third overall. He is a smooth operator ….smooth as butter. Jim took second overall with 419.
Overall, another awesomely enjoyable fun day.
Appreciative thanks to the members who step up and help with the shoot. Brent, Geoff and Glenn. Smooth, efficient and SAFE! They are true professionals.
See you all next week.
