I want to thank all the club members for the understanding they have shown towards the committee and myself since the AGM
In this short time, we have had to face and deal with a number of challenges and it’s been very satisfying and enjoyable for me to work with a strong supportive and diverse committee and membership to ensure that we all enjoy a great and safe shooting experience
I have been made aware of allegations that have been circulating recently. To be clear our club, the committee and the membership does not tolerate racism or bullying.
If you have been subjected to any racism, bullying or harassment, please let us know, as our Club has a documented policy and processes in place to investigate and deal with any such actions.
We also do not authorise any member to use our database to contact,
write or email other members without the express written permission of the committee.
While an ex-Committee member may have had a reason to have a copy of the club database, this does not give that person the authority to use that database.
If you have received any such emails, they are not sanctioned by the committee, and should be regarded accordingly.
Accusations that were specifically designed to damage the good standing of the club, the committee and its membership, will be challenged legally to ensure the integrity of this most diverse club is maintained.
Unless steps are taken to retract each individual accusation within 24 hours, we will be proceeding with the legal action we have already instigated.
