Anonymous member reports shoot - we can't show you his face as he is a professional

Match Report

This weeks shoot was the best, most efficiently run event in the recent times. It may or may not, have something to do with the absence of the Club President.

From a social point of view, everybody was friendly, happy and enjoying themselves. Again, it may have been because of who was running the event. The new Club Scorer did an excellent job helping out. A number of members remarked what a great bloke he is and commended him for being so talented.

Brent was head honcho for this event and might I say, he is the ultimate professional. He organised setup, club firearms (see what I did there Brent – “firearms”) and herded the cats (members) to get us sorted out.

He ran the shoot like a well-oiled machine. Geoff backed him up with RO duties and his contribution was first class. He also lent his experience and watchful eye to a new junior completing their first live fire comp. His input had her shooting scores that would embarrass more experienced members.

Graeme ticked off his third occurrence for RO duties by running a few strings. He issued the commands loud and clear which ensured an efficient and safe shoot. His contribution as an RO will be invaluable moving forward.

All up, everyone had a great and most importantly safe day.
